World literature in English

This year we decided to celebrate the World Book Day focusing on the world literature in English, that is, literary works written by English-speaking writers whose literary quality and popularity have transcended their times and moved beyond their countries' frontiers and now form part of the world literature.
We all have grown up watching movies and reading stories about Alice in Wonderland or characters such as Peter Pan , Oliver Twist or Hamlet. For that reason we asked the pupils to search for information about favourite authors and literary works so that they will enlarge and enrich their general cultural knowledge of world's literature
Some students decided to make posters devoted to a particular author and others chose a digital format. With their splendid work we have nicely dressed the high shool's walls and blog.
